Kyla, Why-Ya Starting a Blog?

Hello Friends!
My name is Kyla and I am sixteen years old. I have two sisters; Mia and Ashlyn. A chorkie named Winston and two fish.
I am starting this blog because I have a lot to say about being chronically ill!
In the last five years, I have been diagnosed with five Autoimmune diseases.
A month after my first day of sixth grade when I was eleven years old, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease. Later that year I met Hashi's cousin Celiac Disease. I immediately started a gluten-free diet and haven't looked back. My symptoms hardly improved and right before my eighth-grade promotion I was diagnosed with both Rheumatoid Arthritis and Sjögren's Syndrome. Since then my life has been about managing my RA and controlling the symptoms these two bring on. Because of my RA and Sjögren's I have had to take intense medicines including steroids and have been on several strange diets. All while attending high school. Earlier this week I got my newest diagnosis, autoimmune hepatitis. AIH is the rarest of them all and is going to start me on a completely different treatment plan very soon.
I am starting this blog to...
-Help people without autoimmune diseases gain insight to understand what we go through.
and
-Help people with autoimmune diseases realize that they are not alone and there is a whole community!

I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I love writing about it!
